Liberty Pointe Consulting is a Profit First–focused financial services firm based in Orland Park, IL. We provide bookkeeping, fractional CFO advisory, Profit First implementation, and group business coaching to small business owners across industries.

Bookkeeping
Bookkeeping Intern

We're looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeping intern who wants hands-on experience in a real financial consulting environment. You'll work directly with our bookkeeping team, supporting client accounts, learning our systems, and building a foundation in Profit First methodology. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting students or early-career professionals who want to grow in a focused, mentorship-driven setting.
Responsibilities
Support bookkeeping team with data entry, reconciliations, and account maintenance in QuickBooks Online
Assist with client financial reports and month-end close processes
Learn and apply Profit First allocation principles to client accounts
Organize and maintain digital financial records with accuracy and care
Communicate professionally with team members on client deliverables
What We're Looking For
Currently enrolled in or recently completed an accounting, finance, or business program
Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (experience preferred, training available)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Reliable, self-directed, and able to work independently in a remote environment
Eagerness to learn Profit First methodology and grow in financial consulting
Advisory
Fractional CFO Intern

This is a rare opportunity to get inside a Profit First–focused fractional CFO practice and learn the advisory side of small business finance. You'll support our fractional CFO team in client engagements, financial analysis, cash flow strategy, and reporting — gaining experience that goes well beyond what a classroom can offer. Ideal for finance or MBA students who want to develop real advisory skills with real clients.
Responsibilities
Support the CFO team in client financial analysis, reporting, and cash flow review
Assist in preparing client-facing financial summaries, dashboards, and KPI reports
Research industry benchmarks and financial trends relevant to client industries
Help document financial systems, processes, and SOPs for clients
Participate in client strategy discussions and shadow advisory sessions
What We're Looking For
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with financial data
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; QuickBooks Online experience a plus
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ambitious, proactive, and serious about a career in financial advisory
Business Development
Sales Professional

We're growing our client base and looking for a relationship-driven sales professional who can represent Liberty Pointe Consulting with confidence, clarity, and integrity. You'll be responsible for business development — identifying potential clients, building relationships, and guiding prospects through our service offerings. This is not a cold-calling grind. This is consultative, relationship-first sales for a firm that genuinely transforms the businesses it works with.
Responsibilities
Identify and engage potential small business clients through networking, referrals, and outreach
Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects' financial challenges and goals
Present LPC services clearly and match prospects to the right service offering
Manage your pipeline in GoHighLevel CRM with consistency and accuracy
Represent LPC at networking events, chamber meetings, and community organizations
Collaborate with leadership on proposals, pricing, and closing
What We're Looking For
Proven track record in sales — ideally in professional services, financial services, or B2B
Exceptional communicator who can build trust quickly and listen more than they talk
Self-motivated and results-oriented — you own your pipeline and your numbers
Familiarity with financial concepts and comfort talking about money with business owners
Experience with CRM systems; GoHighLevel experience a strong plus
